Recruitment, integration and retention practices for the indigenous workforce

We are pleased to provide you with a newsletter on best practices for recruiting, integrating and retaining indigenous workers in the natural resources sectors. The purpose of this document is to assist First Nations in negotiating and implementing agreements with the various developers of natural resource projects concerning the employment and training of the indigenous workforce.

This newsletter was produced in collaboration with Professor Joanie Caron. The latter was inspired by her doctoral thesis produced in 2020 at the School of Indigenous Studies of the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue under the supervision of Professor Hugo Asselin.
