The First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Sustainable Development Institute (FNQLSDI) is proud to announce the appointment of the members of its very first board of directors, elected during its inaugural annual general meeting held on June 10, 2025, at the Hilton in Quebec City.
The new directors
We wish to congratulate those who were elected and who form our new Board of Directors. Welcome to our six directors who have agreed to play this crucial role in FNQLSDI ‘s governance (from left to right):

- Benoit Croteau – Abitibiwinni First Nation Council (Vice-President)
- Laurence Maher – PNWW – Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation (Secretary)
- Marie Christine Roussel Gray – Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government
- André Michel – ITUM – Innu Takuaikan Uashat mak Mani-utenam
- Miguel Coocoo – Atikamekw Wemotaci Council (President)
Our directors bring a wealth of experience and a shared vision for sustainable development that respects our traditional values while meeting the challenges of our communities.
The board of directors will be completed by three members of the political committee, who will be appointed by the Chiefs-in-assembly at an upcoming assembly.
