You, your community, or your First Nations* organization have a climate change project—whether it involves adaptation, or mitigation? We are proud to launch the Fund for the Support for First Nations climate leadership, which aims to support your initiatives.
*Except for the Cree and the Naskapi, who have separate agreements with the provincial government.
Selected projects will be eligible to receive funding up to $500,000 over three years Projects must be completed within three years of the agreement’s signing, but no later than March 31, 2031.
The deadline for submitting a project is November 12, 2026.
