These fact sheets were produced as part of the project Encouraging reflection and the development of an indigenous vision with regard to marine planning and conservation initiatives.

The aim of this project is to enable the communities concerned by the estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence bioregion to develop a reflection and vision on marine planning and conservation issues, in preparation for discussions with the Government of Canada on these matters. Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), and more specifically the Marine Conservation and Planning Division (MCPD), Quebec Region, is the partner department for this project.

The aim of the following sheets is to support and fuel your reflections and those of DFO in the context of this project.
