Are you involved in a collective planning process and unsure how to use the mountain of data that’s been piling up in your office? This data collection and analysis training creates and inviting space where you can explore simple practices that will put your community’s voices at the heart of the planning. Together, we’ll cover the following elements:
- Getting to know each other – working with our strengths
- Caring for your data – information governance
- Planning your data collection – what, when, how, who, and most importantly, why
- Getting the most out of your data – questions and analysis tools
- Communicating well – preferences and audiences
- Your next moves – group discussion
The training is facilitated as an interactive workshop, online or in person. Generally, we plan to be together for 3 hours, but everything can be adjusted to suit your preferences and the size of your group. We can also cofacilitate the training with one of our regional CCP mentors and/or with our colleagues from the FNQLHSSC, to offer even more perspectives.
We look forward to meeting you!
