First Nations Planning Circle

A Space to Inspire and Support Each Other

Our team has been hosting the First Nations Planning Circle since 2017. The Circle is a space created by and for First Nations, where they can support, learn and get inspired by each other.

Everyone involved in First Nations planning in Quebec and Labrador is welcome.

Circle gatherings take on different forms, based on the members’ preferences and available funding. Here are some examples of activities organized with the Circle over the last few years :

  • Webinar series on Indigenous Planning, featuring 17 different panelists
  • Monthly online gatherings, with guest speakers, mini-training sessions and learning circles
  • Individual and group mentoring by regional CCP mentors
  • Training workshop on integrating a Trauma-Informed Approach in Planning
  • Training workshop on Change Management
  • Regional gatherings on community planning
